Jordan Ramis PC Shareholder Selected as Lawyer Representative to the Ninth Circuit

Vancouver, WA... Jordan Ramis PC is pleased to announce that attorney Russell D. Garrett has been selected as one of three new Lawyer Representatives to the Ninth Circuit from the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.

The Lawyer Representative position offers a great opportunity to get to know and work with a variety of jurists from throughout the Ninth Circuit as well as a chance to craft improved bench-bar relations and improved processes for the practitioners within the Western District of Washington.

In her letter congratulating Russ, Marsha J. Pechman, Chief United States District Judge for the Western District of Washington, stated, "I know [Russ] will take full advantage of this opportunity and also provide an invaluable service to our legal community."

Russ Garrett is a shareholder in Jordan Ramis PC. Russ is a bankruptcy lawyer with more than 23 years' experience handling bankruptcy and creditors' rights, commercial litigation, real estate, and general litigation. He earned his B.A. from the University of Oregon and his J.D. at Willamette University's College of Law. In addition, Russ serves on the Washington State Bar Association Creditor Debtor Rights Section Executive Committee, and has served as an out-of-state delegate to the Oregon State Bar House of Delegates since its inception.
