Scott S. Anders

Scott Anders brings to Jordan Ramis PC his experience as a former civil prosecutor and former District Court Judge in Clark County, Washington, to provide effective counsel to public and private sector clients.

Scott's leadership as a District Court Judge found him serving as a liaison between the court and county commissioners. While performing the usual duties of a judge, he also presided over a successful mental health court, now emulated by other counties throughout Washington and Oregon.

Scott's experience as a prosecutor ranged on issues from bankruptcy, finance, property tax, construction contracts and liens to building code enforcement, land use, and insurance law.

An active member of the community, Scott brings his experience in the credit industry to make regular presentations to high school juniors and seniors on the potentials and pitfalls of using credit. His professional involvement has included assisting in the development of guidelines for improved access to the judicial system in the state of Washington and serving on a best practices subcommittee to create performance standards in trial court.
