Peter O. Watts, the second youngest shareholder in the history of Jordan Ramis PC, graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law, and was admitted to the Oregon Bar in 2002. He received an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Washington in 2003. Peter's areas of law concentration include estate planning, debt negotiation, and general business. In 2010 Peter was recognized as one of the Portland Business Journal's Forty Under 40 Business Professionals. In 2010 and 2011 was recognized as a Rising Star by Oregon Super Lawyers magazine.
Peter is President of the Clackamas County Business Alliance Board of Directors, and has served as the Chair of the Land Use Committee since 2008. Continuing his service to Clackamas County, Peter was appointed to the Clackamas County Tourism Development Council in 2007 and reappointed in 2010. He was elected Chair in 2009, 2010, and 2011. Additionally, he serves as a member of the Oregon Law Foundation Board of Directors.
Beyond his busy professional career, Peter has also served on the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon Junior Board of Directors since 2005 contributing many hours to fundraising efforts, volunteering, and assisting in wish fulfillment for children with life threatening illnesses. He has served as a board member of Child Centered Solutions since 2010. In his spare time Peter enjoys running and volunteering on political campaigns.
